DAY 1: SMYRNA "IZMIR"

Flight to Izmir. Welcome on arrival and transfer to hotel. Dinner and night at the hotel in Izmir.

 

DAY 2: SMYRNA "IZMIR" / EPHESUS " SELÇUK "

Short visit to Izmir with the church of St. Polycarpe. Following to Ephesus, visits to the site with the Church of the Council of 431, St. John's Basilica and the house of the holy Virgin. Lunch during visits. Dinner and night at the hotel in Selcuk.

 

DAY 3: MILET / DIDYMA / LAODICEA / HIERAPOLIS "PAMUKKALE"

Leaving for visits of Miletus and Didyma. Lunch during visits. Then, visit of Laodicea. Dinner and night at the hotel in Pamukkale.

 

DAY 4: HIERAPOLIS "PAMUKKALE" / PERGE / ANTALYA

Morning dedicated to the discovery of the cotton castle and Hierapolis with the tomb of St. Philip.Departure to Antalya.Lunch along the way. Arrival and visit of Perge.  Dinner and night at the hotel in Antalya.

 

DAY 5: ANTALYA / YALVAC / KONYA

Crossing the Taurus, visit to Antioch of Pisidia "Yalvaç". Lunch during visits. Onwards to Konya. Dinner and night at the hotel in Konya.

 

DAY 6: KONYA / CAPPADOCIA

Visit the museum-mausoleum of Mevlâna. Then, departure for Cappadocia, on the way, visit Sultanhani's caravanserai. Lunch during visits. Dinner and night at the hotel in Cappadocia.

 

DAY 7: CAPPADOCIA

Departure for the visit of the valley of Goreme (including the Karanlik church). Visit of many valleys : Pigeonniers Valley, Avcilar Valley, Uçhisar Village. A visit to the underground town of Özkonak. Lunch during visits. Dinner and night at the hotel in Cappadocia.

 

DAY 8: CAPPADOCIA / TARSUS / ADANA

From Tarsus, crossing the Taurus Mountains, Paul's homeland in Cilicia. Visit the church and well of St. Paul. Lunch during visits. Then, continue to Adana. Dinner and night at the hotel in Adana.

 

DAY 9: ADANA

Transfer to the airport. Return flight.
